Our lake offers a real challenge to the Fly fisherman.

We have extensively dredged the lake and improved it to be one of the finest Rainbow & brown trout lakes in the region.

This lake is well stocked with trout , and is restricted to fly fishing only on either a catch and release or catch and retain basis.

Forgotten your rod? Don’t worry we have fly fishing rods to hire from only £3.50 a day in our tackle shop and we will be happy to instruct the beginner in the art of fly fishing.

The Lake is stocked with rainbows from 2-15lb & Brown trout to 8lb. 

If you are fishing catch and retain we ask that all rainbows over 8lb and Brown trout over 3lb are returned to fight another day.

CATCH AND RELEASE (SPORTING)

Adults        £15 day

                £10 half day[4 hours]

Juniors       £10 full day

CATCH AND RETAIN

Prices as sporting ticket.
Plus £1.90 per lb on fish caught
to a maximum of £6.00 per fish

Fly rod hire £3.50
