Our lake offers a real challenge to the Fly fisherman.

We have extensively dredged the lake and improved it to be one of the finest Rainbow & brown trout lakes in the region.

This lake is well stocked with trout , and is restricted to fly fishing only on either a catch and release or catch and retain basis.

Forgotten your rod? Don’t worry we have fly fishing rods to hire from only £3.50 a day in our tackle shop and we will be happy to instruct the beginner in the art of fly fishing.

The Lake is now stocked with rainbows from 2-14lb & Brown trout to 8lb. 

If you are fishing catch and retain we ask that all rainbows over 8lb and Brown trout over 3lb are returned to fight another day.
